We held another successful USPSA new shooters class on 7-26-08 with 8 shooters attending.  Everyone had a safe and fun day experiencing a taste of USPSA shooting.  After the class everyone wanted to shoot the field course over and over.  A special thanks to Ronnie Shores for heading the class and growing the sport of Practical Shooting.  I also want to thank those that helped set up and tear down.  Without great volunteers like these guys our sport would not be possible.  THANK YOU!

We held our first organized event at EAGC on 7-5-08.  EAGC's new USPSA match director, Ronnie Shores, and myself held a USPSA new shooters class.  We had a great turnout of over a dozen new shooters to USPSA.  We all had a great time and after a safety and rules discussion we went HOT and fired some groups, did a few mag changes, then shot the first stage which was a standards stage, of freestyle, then strong hand, weak hand.  We finished the day with a 32 round field course that everyone literally had a "BLAST" on.  I hope to see a lot of these guys back in August for the inaugural match.
